Agrawal Order On Board 10/01/2018 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that respondent No.3-Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Kasdol has initiated the proceedings under Section 40 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993 against the petitioner in which he has made preliminary objection, the same has been rejected by respondent No.3 on 08.03.2017, but the enquiry proceedings has not been decided finally till now, hence this petition.
(2) Since the matter is pending before Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Kasdol since 05.11.2016, therefore, it would be appropriate to direct the Sub Divisional Officer to consider and take a decision on the case of the petitioner in accordance with law after hearing the affected parties expeditiously within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
(3) With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
