1. The limited relief that the petitioners have sought for in the present writ petition is for an appropriate direction to the respondents for considering the applications of the petitioners for grant of lease over the Government Bade Talab situated at Gram Panchayat: Mohtarateli, Tahsil:Lormi.

The counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners have the lease over the said property since 1997 and the said lease has since been expired for which they have moved an application for renewal or for grant of a fresh lease. However, till date no such decisions have been taken on the said applications of the petitioners inspite of the repeated letters being issued by the State Government for taking a decision on the applications moved by the petitioners.

3. Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, let the Respondent No. 3, 5 and 6 take necessary steps in ensuring that the application for grant of lease moved by the petitioners be decided, at the earliest in-accordance-with law.

4. It is expected that the respondent-authorities shall take a decision at the earliest, preferably within a period of forty five days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. The present writ petition, accordingly stands disposed off.
