1. The present petition under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed by the applicant, who is complainant in the compliant case preferred before the court below, seeking for a direction to the court below for an expeditious trial.

2. According to the applicant, she made a complaint before the Police Station, Mandir Hasaud on 28.07.2010 and 03.08.2010 which was registered as crime No.229 of 2010 and a criminal case No. 37 of 2012 was also registered against the accused person for the offence under Section 420,467,468,471 and 120-B IPC on 15.03.2012. Later on charge was also framed, but till date no further proceedings have been drawn and not a single witness has been examined. Therefore, a direction may be issued to the court below for an expeditious trial.

3. Admittedly from the perusal of records it appears that the proceedings before the court below is progressing at a very slow pace. It is therefore directed that the

trial court should ensure that the case is concluded at the earliest by resorting to all the powers which are conferred upon the court below under the provisions of Cr.P.C. for an expeditious trial more particularly in respect of calling upon the witnesses. The court below must borne in mind Section 309 of Cr.P.C. while conducting the trial by avoiding unnecessary adjournment.
