Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that petitioner's witnesses were present on 27.11.2017 but in absence of Presiding Officer / Collector, witnesses could not be examined and thereafter, on 14.12.2017 Smt. Jayanti Patel was examined but for examination of other two witnesses namely Mahesh Choudhary and Hardeep Singh Raina case was adjourned and fixed for 15.01.2018 but on that date the petitioner's opportunity to lead evidence was closed by the Presiding Officer. Hence, this writ petition has been preferred by the petitioner praying additional opportunity to be granted for examination of the remaining two witnesses on the next date fixed for the case on 16.07.2018.

I have heard learned counsel for the petitioner.

Considering the facts and in the interest of justice, the petitioner is granted additional opportunity to examine his remaining two witnesses positively on the next date fixed for the case, i.e. on 16.07.2018. It is made clear that no further opportunity will be given to the petitioner. 4.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
