Learned State counsel would submit that the order passed by the Sub-Divisional Officer (Revenue) cancelling the government fair price shop of the petitioner is appealable under the Chhattisgarh Public Distribution System (Control), Order 2001 (for brevity "Order of 2001"). 2.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may

be allowed to prefer an appeal before the respondent No. 2- Collector, Janjgir Champa under the Order of 2001 and the said authority may be directed to consider and decide the same expeditiously. 3.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties. 4.

The prayer appears to be fair and reasonable and is accordingly allowed.

Be that as it may, if the petitioner prefers such an appeal within ten days from today and also make an application for grant of interim relief before the respondent No. 2 then, the respondent No. 2- Collector, Janjgir Champa shall consider and decided the same expeditiously preferably within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 6.
