The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 13/2016 registered in Police Station Punjipathra, District Raigarh (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 420, 467, 468 of IPC.

As per the prosecution case a cheque was issued in the name of Garan Shodhiya who runs one Sourabh Patrika and was being paid the cheque regularly. The applicant manipulated the amount of Rs.1350/- and 8 was inserted in front of the amount whereby cheque was manipulated and it was made Rs.8350/-. Thereby, offence is committed. 3.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant has been falsely implicated, charge sheet has been filed and cheque was issued in name of Makhan Shodhiya and the cheque having been deposited it was made clear, therefore learned counsel prays for release of the applicant on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail.

I have perused the charge sheet. The cheque appears to be issued in the name of Makhan Shodhiya. Considering the fact that the charge sheet has been filed and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.

Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
