This is the second bail application preferred by the applicant under Section 439 of CrPC for grant of regular bail, as he is arrested in connection with Crime No.19/2018, registered at Police Station Gandhinagar, District Surguja (C.G.), for the offence punishable under Section 20-B of the NDPS Act. 2.
While permitting the applicant to withdraw the first bail application, he was allowed liberty to move again after 3 months. 3.
The applicant was found to possess illicit ganja weighed at 6 kg and 200 gms. The applicant is in jail since 03.02.2018 i.e. for more than 7 months.

Considering the length of pre trial detention, this Court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and the applicant is directed to be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety for the like amount to the satisfaction of the trial Court. He is directed to appear before the trial Court on each and every date given by the said Court.
