The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 209/2016 registered in Police Station Sarkanda, Bilaspur (C.G.) for offence punishable under section 354, 452 & 323 of IPC.

As per the prosecution case, the applicant on 16/03/2016 forcefully entered into the house of the prosecutrix and thereafter assaulted the mother and father of the prosecutrix and also tried to outrage the modesty of the prosecutrix with a request to marry the prosecutrix and on being refused, the applicant assaulted himself by blade. 3.
Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the prosecutrix was in relation with the applicant and it is a old case of love affair and the charge sheet has already been filed, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and statement
of the prosecutrix and the fact that charge sheet has been filed, considering detention of the applicant he is in jail since 17/03/2016, this court is inclined to release the applicant on bail. 6.
Accordingly, the bail application is allowed and it is directed that the applicant shall be released on his furnishing personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of concerned trial court for his regular appearance before it as and when directed.
