1. Heard.
2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was terminated vide order dated 18.12.2018 passed by the respondent No. 2 i.e. Manager/ Sub Area Manager Delwadih Sighali Bagdeva, Sub Area SECL Korba. Against the said termination order, the petitioner preferred a departmental appeal before the respondent No. 1 i.e. President/ Assistant Managing Director SECL Bilaspur on 07.01.2019 and the same is still pending consideration. The only prayer made by the petitioner in the present petition is that the departmental appeal may be decided within a stipulated time period.
3. Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the respondent authorities may decide the said appeal within time.
4. Considering the fact that the departmental appeal preferred by the petitioner is pending since year 2019, the respondent No. 1 i.e. President/ Assistant Managing Director SECL Bilaspur is directed to decide the appeal within a further period of 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With the aforesaid direction/ observation, the writ petition stands disposed off.
