1. The only grievance of the petitioner is the inaction on the part of the respondents in not grating the time bound scale pay to the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner, in terms of the circular applicable in the State of Chhattisgarh an employee who has put in 10 years of service would become entitled for the first time scale pay and thereafter on completion of 20 and 30 years of service an employee is entitled for second and third time scale pay. According to the petitioner, in the instant case though the petitioner has completed more than 20 years of continuous service, but till date he has not been given the first time scale pay.

3. The State counsel on the other hand submits that since the representation of the petitioner is already under consideration before the authorities, the same shall be decided on its own merits in accordance with law at the earliest.

Given the submissions by the counsel appearing on either side, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondents to take an appropriate decision on the claim of the petitioner for the time bound pay scale payable to an employee in terms of the circulars governing the field on completion of 10 years and 20 years of continues service. Let an appropriate decision be taken in this regard by the respondents within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
