1. Heard.

2. The applicant has preferred this application under Section 439 of the Cr.P.C. for grant of regular bail as he is arrested in connection with crime No.314/2018 registered in Police Station New Rajendra Nagar, Dist - Raipur C.G. for the offence punishable under Section 392/34 of the I.P.C.

3. Applicant is the kingpin of the gang involved in committing loot in Raipur and other places of Chhattisgarh. As per the material available in the case diary, it appears that the

applicant used to call persons from other states to engage them for committing loot. From the possession of the applicant, looted property has been seized and moreover different crimes of similar nature has been registered against him.

4. Learned State counsel would oppose the prayer for grant of bail.

5. Considering the modus operandi and for the fact that applicant appears to be the kingpin or gang leader of the gang involved in loot/ highway robbery, I am not inclined to release the applicant on bail.
