The limited relief that Petitioner seeks in the present Writ Petition is for an appropriate direction to Respondent No.3 to take an appropriate decision on the representation which the Petitioner has made so far as grant of promotion from the post of Assistant Teacher to the post of Teacher is concerned.

Learned Panel Lawyer appearing for Respondent State submits that if the representation of Petitioner is not decided and is pending till date, the same shall be decided at the earliest in accordance with law. 3.

Given the said submission, the present Writ Petition as of now is disposed of directing the Respondents to consider and decide the representation of Petitioner in accordance with law, at the earliest, preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.

Authorities shall also consider the contention of Petitioner when he says that similar benefits have been extended to a similarly placed person namely Kamlesh Kumar Sahu who had earlier filed W.P.(S) No.1788/2017 which got disposed of on 17.4.2017.
