(1) Petitioners herein have preferred this writ petition to direct respondent authorities to consider their claims for grant of pay scale, annual grade increment etc. from their initial date of appointment. Petitioners No.11, 14 & 15 are working as Upper Division Teacher (UDT) and others petitioners are working as Head Master.
(2) Counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioners would submit that he does not press any other relief except representation to be filed by the petitioners may be decided by the competent authorities as early as possible.
(3) Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the petitioners may file the representation before the concerned District Education Officer within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. If such representation is filed by the petitioners before the District Education Officer and, in turn, the concerned District Education Officer shall consider and decide such representation expeditiously preferably within a further period of three months from the date of receipt of such representation, according to law and procedure. This Court has not touched on the merits of the case.
