Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though petitioner has been granted stage carriage permit by respondent No. 2 by order dated 27.08.2016 but the permit after renewal as required by Rule 82 of the Chhattisgarh Motor Vehicles Rules, 1994 is not being issued to the petitioner even after lapse of about two years from the date of passing of the order.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation / application before the State Transport Authority within a period of seven days from today for redressal of his grievance that will be considered and decided by the said authority and necessary orders will be passed within a
further period of seven days thereafter in accordance with the Rule 82 of the Rules of 1994.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
