1. Heard counsel for the parties.
2. Petitioner is posted as Sub Engineer and presently posted at Municipal Council, Bhatapara, District Balodabazar-Bhatapara. He preferred this writ petition to direct the respondents-authorities to consider his case for the promotion on the post of Assistant Engineer
as per the Chhattisgarh Municipal Corporation Officers and Servants (Appointment and Service Conditions) Rules, 2007.
3. As per the Annexure P/12 Municipal Corporation, Beergaon, District Raipur (C.G.) has recommended the name of the petitioner for the promotion as Assistant Engineer. The aforesaid recommendation has to be sent to the respondent No. 2 by the Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Beergaon.
4. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is disposed of with this direction that the Director, Urban Administration and Development Department to take appropriate steps regarding the aforesaid recommendation within six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, according to the law and procedure.
