The default pointed out by the registry stands over-ruled for a moment. 2.

Since, the issue raised in the present Writ Petition stands squarely covered by the decision of this court in WPS No.3622/2018 decided on 11/05/2018, the present Writ Petition also deserve to be and is accordingly disposed off in similar terms.

The petitioner herein is directed to approach the High Power Committee constituted by the State Government vide their circular dated 05/05/2018 constituted for dealing with the cases relating to compulsory retirement. 4.

Let the petitioner approach the said Committee within a period of 3 weeks from today and the respondent/State is also directed to refer the '

matter to the Committee within the same period and the Committee in turn would reconsider the case of the petitioner and ascertain whether the order of compulsory retirement issued against the petitioner is justified or not and whether it is in accordance with the guidelines framed by the State Government pertaining to compulsory retirement. 5.

Since, the Government has also taken a decision to reconsider the cases of compulsory retirement which are passed by it, this Court is not inclined to keep the Writ Petition pending any further. 6.

Thus, reserving the right of the petitioner to approach the Committee and the Committee in turn to scrutinize and pass a fresh order and decide the case of the petitioner within a period of 8 weeks from the date the '

petitioner approaches the Committee or files a suitable representation/appeal against the order of compulsory retirement, the Writ Petition stands disposed off.
