The grievance of the petitioner in the instant Writ Petition is that, the petitioner who has been issued with an order of compulsory retirement on 18/08/2017 has not been paid the retiral dues although almost 1 year has passed from the date of his retirement.

Given the limited dispute which the petitioner have raised, this Court does not intend to keep the Writ Petition pending rather ends of justice would meet if the Writ Petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondents No.2 & 3 to look into the grievance of the petitioner and ensure that the retiral dues including the pensionary benefits is released to the

petitioner forthwith unless he is otherwise not entitled under the service rules.

The petitioner would also be entitled for interest on the delayed payment @ 9% per annum from the date it fell due till the date of payment. 4.

Let this exercise be done within a period of 3 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondent No.2 of the order passed by this Court.
