Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is working on the post of Assistant Professor and also obtained Ph.D. Degree, as such, he is entitled for advance increment, which has not been given to him and he has made representation (Annexure-P/1) before the respondent No.2 on 22.08.2015, which has not been considered and decided till this date, therefore, a direction be issued to consider and decide his
representation in accordance with law.

Be that as it may, the respondent No.2 is directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law expeditiously as early as possible preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt and/or production of certified copy of this order. 3.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed off. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
