Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he be allowed to prefer an appeal before the General Administration Committee, Zila Panchayat, Korba under Rule 15 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Service (Discipline and Appeal) Rules,1999.

Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

This writ petition is disposed off with a direction that if the petitioner prefers an appeal before the appellate authority within a period of three weeks from today, the appellate authority do well to decide the appeal as early as possible preferably within a period of two months from the date of presentation of appeal. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merit of the case.
