Agrawal Order On Board 30/07/2018 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner is an elected Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat Khapri. He was removed from the said post by the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) vide order dated 11.01.2018. The petitioner preferred appeal thereagainst before the Collector. The appeal has been allowed by the Collector and the matter has been remitted to the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) for fresh consideration, which is pending consideration and, therefore, the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.

(2) Be that as it may, since the matter has been remitted to the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) for considering the matter afresh, the SDO (R) is directed to consider and decide the case of the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order after hearing the affected. (3) For the period of four weeks, interim order granted earlier shall remain in operation.
