The petitioner bank/ complainant has filed this petition for direction for expeditious completion of trial in the matter of theft of currency note. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that on the report of the petitioner, offence was registered against respondents No.3,4 & 5 on the allegation of having stolen huge currency notes from the bank. The charges were framed on 01.02.2003 and thereafter, the trial has remained pending for more than 12 1⁄2 years.

Considering the submission, this petition at present is disposed off with a direction to Judicial Magistrate First Class, Bhilai-III, to expeditiously conduct the trial without granting unnecessary adjournment to any of the parties and all endevour shall be made to conclude the trial as early as possible preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The trial Court shall forward a report to the Registry of this Court with regard to status of the case after four months. 4.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed off.
