1. The limited grievance that petitioners seek for is for appropriate direction to the respondents to consider their representations whereby the period of service rendered by the petitioner as a Daily Wage Employee under the respondents before regularization be counted for the purpose of quantifying the amount of gratuity and pension payable.

2. Without entering into the merits of the case and also without going into the entitlement part, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.4 to consider and decide the representation of the petitioners in terms of the rules, regulations and provisions of the Payment of Gratuity Act at the earliest preferably within 120 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

3. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
