Referring to the averments made in the return, learned counsel for respondents No.2-Municipal Council submits that notices impugned in this petition shall be withdrawn and the Municipal Council shall take fresh proceedings for recovery of tax in accordance with law. He submits that the petitioner should cooperate in the changed circumstance. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that in response to fresh calculation, which may be communicated to the petitioner, the petitioner shall deposit such tax as it is liable to pay under the law.
