1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the disconnection of the electricity supply to the shops belonging to the petitioner.

2. According to the petitioner there is no reason whatsoever assigned for disconnection of his supply and that there is also no dues or

arrears to be paid by the petitioner to the respondents, in spite of that electricity connection has been disconnected. According to the petitioner the disconnection was made on 30.07.2020.

3. That the present writ petition has been filed on 29.08.2020 i.e. almost after one month. In between there also does not seem to be any representation made by the petitioner to the respondent authorities either for restoring the electricity supply or for knowing as to why the supply has been disconnected.

4. Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the petitioner to approach the respondent No.2 & 3 by way of a representation to be filed within a period of 10 days from today. Upon such representation being made, respondent No.2 & 3 shall consider the same and decide the representation in accordance with law. The authorities can also consider the request of the petitioner for grant of any temporary connection in accordance with the guidelines and regulations governing the field.
