The applicant has preferred this application for grant of bail as he is arrested in connection with Crime No. 202/2016 registered in Police Station Chowki Manikpur, Kotwali, Korba (C.G.) for offence punishable under sections 420, 406/34 of Indian Penal Code. 2.
As per the prosecution case a report was made by Abhishek Singh that on 3/11/2015 he came in contact with the applicant as the complainant wanted to sell his Mahindra Car and the applicant contended that he has the purchasers and took away the car. Thereafter, the car was not returned and the report was made and on enquiry it was revealed that car was sold by Mohd. Arif to Sumit Srivas for an amount of Rs.1,70,000/-. Thereby, the offence is committed.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant has been falsely implicated in this case and car was not sold by the applicant and it was sold by Mohd. Arif. He submits that the charge sheet has been filed, no further investigation is necessary, therefore the applicant may be released on bail.

Learned State counsel opposes the prayer for grant of bail. 5.
Perused the statement of the complainant and the purchaser as also perusal of the case diary shows that as many as 7 cars of like nature were recovered from the possession of the applicant and other co-accused. Considering the fact that applicant appears to be prima facie involved in the similar nature of offence, this court is not inclined to release the applicant on bail.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed. Certified copy as per rules.
