HIGH COURT OF CHHATTISGARH, BILASPUR Order Sheet Cont. Case (C) No.445 of 2019 Nandlal Rathore & Ors. Vs. Durgesh Madhav Awasthi & Ors. 01.10.2019 Ms. Naushina Ali and Shri Nitansh Kumar Jaiswal, Advocates for the petitioners.

Shri Chandresh Shrivastava, Advocate for the respondents. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents brings to the notice of the court an order dated 27.09.2019 passed by the Director General of Police, Chhattisgarh, stating that the recruitment process initiated pursuant to advertisement published in December, 2017, has been cancelled in toto.

Given the said facts that the respondents have issued an order cancelling the entire recruitment process itself, this court is of the opinion that the present contempt petition does not have any force to be pursued any further.

The contempt petition accordingly stands disposed of reserving the right of the petitioners to challenge subsequent order, if they are aggrieved of.
