1. Matter pertains to the non granting of the annual increment upon the petitioner retiring on 30.09.2021.

2. The limited prayer that the petitioner prays for is for direction to the respondents to consider and decide his application pending before respondent no.3 so far as non granting of annual increment for the period between July, 2019 to July, 2021.

3. Counsel for the petitioner submits that he has to cross the age of superannuation on 30.09.2021 and in case if the annual increment is not granted the petitioner may suffer so far retiral dues are concerned.

4. Given the said nature of dispute that petitioner has the writ petition at this juncture stands disposed of directing the respondent no.2 & 3 to immediately process the claim of the petitioner so far non granting of increment for the period of July, 2019 onwards and an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within 45 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

5. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed of with the aforesaid observations.
