The impugned order under Section 89 of the Chhattisgarh Panchayat Raj Adhiniyam, 1993, has been passed by the Collector, Durg. The order is appealable before the Commissioner, Durg Division. 3.

Therefore, the writ petition is dismissed as not maintainable. The petitioner may avail the alternative remedy within 30 days, upon which, the Commissioner, Durg Division, shall do well to dispose of the appeal at the earliest preferably within a period of six months.
