The caste certificate of the Petitioner has been rejected by the SubDivisonal Officer, Durg. An appeal has been preferred before the Collector against the said order of rejection.

The Collector, Durg is directed to hear and decide the appeal expeditiously preferably within a period of one week and/or production of copy of this order since the counselling for admission to MBBS course is dependent upon the issuance of the caste certificate of the Petitioner.

If this is the status with regard to the caste certificate of the Petitioner, there cannot be any direction in favour of the Petitioner in the present writ application to allow her participation in the counselling.
