1. The limited prayer which the petitioner makes is for a direction to the respondents to decide the appeal, which he has preferred against the order of punishment dated 04.10.2017.

2. The counsel for the petitioner submits that initially he had filed a writ petition i.e. WPS No. 5591/2017 and this Court vide order dated 27.10.2017 had directed the petitioner to prefer an appeal against the order of punishment. Pursuant to which the petitioner has preferred an appeal before the State Government, but the same has till date not been decided.

3. Taking into consideration the limited grievances of the petitioner for deciding the appeal, this Court is not inclined to keep the petition pending and disposes of the writ petition with a direction that the

respondent No.1 should ensure that if they have received the appeal of the petitioner, the same shall be decided by the respondent No.1 within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order, if not decided till date.
