1. The grievance of the petitioner is that, the petitioner has retired from service on 30.06.2015 from the contingency employment. He has pensionable service in his credit, but though more than four years have passed, the respondents have till date not released pension and pensionary benefits.

2. According to the petitioner, he has been repeatedly approaching the authorities for getting the pension released, but there has been no development in this regard.

3. Given the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the respondents No.2 and 3 are directed to immediately scrutinize the claim of the petitioner so far as his claim for pension and pensionary benefits are concerned. In case, if the petitioner is found eligible for pension, let the same be released

-2including arrears at the earliest preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

4. It is further held that in case if the petitioner is entitled for the same, he would also be entitled for interest for the inordinate delay on the part of the State in not finalizing the same promptly as it has been almost four years that the petitioner stands retired from service.

5. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondents No.2&3 so far as order passed by this court is concerned.
