1. The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition seems to be the inaction on the part of the respondent in not considering the petitioner for promotion to the post of Assistant Grade -II from the Post of Assistant Grade- III.

2. According to the petitioner, he was appointed as an AG-III under the respondents in the year 2013 and the petitioner has all the requisite qualification and eligibility for promotion to the post of Assistant Grade -II. However, the respondents have repeatedly ignored the claim

of the petitioner for promotion and at the same time, the respondents have considered the persons juniors to the petitioner in the cadre who have been granted promotion ahead of the petitioner.

3. According to the petitioner, he has been repeatedly approaching the authorities concerned ventilating his grievance but till date he has not got any favourable response from the respondent authorities, nor is there any specific reason assigned for not considering the case of the petitioner.

4. Given the limited grievance that the petitioner has, the present writ petition at this juncture is disposed of permitting the petitioner to approach the respondents No. 2 & 4 by way of a suitable representation in respect of his claim and grievance so far as non-grant of promotion from the post of Assistant Grade-III to the post of Assistant Grade-II, the respondents No. 2 & 4 shall intrun consider the same on its own merits in accordance with law and the same be decided within an outer limit of 60 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
