(1) Heard counsel for the parties.

(2) Petitioner has preferred this writ petition to direct respondent

authorities to grant him further promotion from the post of Sub Inspector (M) to Subedar (M) and to consider and decide his pending representation, filed on 27.04.2018.

(3) Petitioner is working as Sub Inspector (M) and posted at P.T.S. Rajnandgaon, District Rajnandgaon.

(4) Counsel for the petitioner urged that he does not press any other relief except to decide his representation.

(5) Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, the instant writ petition is disposed of with the direction that the respondent No.2 i.e. Director General of Police, Raipur shall dispose of the representation dated 27.04.2018 filed by the petitioner expeditiously preferably within a period of 75 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order, according to law and procedure.
