PUD has been received from the court of First Additional Sessions Judge, Mahasamund with a request for extension of time to dispose of Session Trial No. 19/2018 pending before that court. The time limit was fixed by this Court in the order dated 20.01.2020 passed in CRMP No. 35 of 2020 for disposal of Session Trial No. 19/2018. On subsequent date, on the basis of application made by Sessions Judge, Mahasamund, further extension was given in the order dated 13.03.2020 passed by this Court in MCRC No. 1239 of 2020. It is mentioned in the PUD that because of pandemic situation, the trial is withheld.

Considering on the submissions made in the PUD, I feel inclined to allow the prayer made in the PUD.

Prayer is allowed and extension of time is granted. Further four

months time is given for conclusion of the trial mentioned hereinabove. The time given shall start from the date normal functioning of the court are restored.
