1. The limited prayer made in the present petition is that the trial Court be directed to expedite the proceeding in an unregistered complaint case filed by the petitioner against the proposed respondent accused.

2. Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the complaint was filed way back in the year 2017 and no orders are being passed in such case.

3. A perusal of the order sheet shows that the complainant himself has placed the affidavit as back as on 16.05.2018 in support of the complaint. Thereafter the Court has fixed for evidence before the Registration. In view of this I do not find any delay caused on the part of the Court. However, it is expected that the court will not adjourn the case without there being any valid reasons and shall adjudicate the case as per the permissible time limit as unnecessary

adjournments will defeat the case.

4. It is made clear that this Court has not made any observation on merits of the case at this stage.

5. Accordingly, this petition is disposed of with the above observation.
