1. Heard.

2. The petitioner has filed this writ petition to direct the respondents to consider and decide his representation Annexure P/17 dated 27.04.2018 and quash the promotion order Annexure P/19 dated 08.06.2018.

3. The petitioner is a Sub-Inspector (Telecom) posted at Bhilai Zone, Police Department, Raipur.

4. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the instant writ petition may be disposed off by giving direction to respondent No. 2 to decide his representation Annexure P/17.

5. Looking to the facts and circumstances of the case, submission of the counsel for the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed off with this direction that respondent No. 2, the Inspector General of Police, Headquarter - Naya Raipur shall decide the representation Annexure P/17 filed by the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of receipt of this order in accordance with law and procedure.
