1. The limited relief that the petitioner has sought for is for an appropriate direction for the respondents to take a decision on the representation that he has made for allotment of the house in which he is residing for the last many decades. The petitioner is making a claim under the Rent Purchase Scheme introduced by the Department.
2. According to the counsel for the petitioner, the Mayor-in-Council of the Municipal Corporation-Korba ie., the Respondent No. 3 has resolved in their meeting dated 28.06.2019 and again on 31.08.2019
-2in-respect-of allotting the house to employees of the Municipal Corporation-Korba under the said Rent Purchase Scheme. The petitioner submits that he has approached the authorities by representation Annexure P-1 which till date has not been decided.

Given the said facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet, if the respondent no. 1 is directed to take a decision in-respect-of the application/representation which the petitioner has made to the Respondent No. 1. While taking a decision, the Respondent No. 1 may take note of the decision of the Mayor-in-Council, Municipal Corporation- Korba dated 28.06.2019 as well as 31.08.2019.
4. Let a decision be taken at the earliest, preferably within a period of ninety days from the date of receipt of copy of this Order. With the aforesaid direction, the present writ petition stands disposed off. Sd/- (P. Sam Koshy) Judge Rahul
