Agrawal Order On Board 05/07/2018 (1) Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has made an application for releasing the amount of compensation in lieu of acquisition of his land to the Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue), Ambikapur, Sarguja but the same has not been considered and decided till date and, therefore, the same may be directed to be decided expeditiously.

(2) Be that as it may, respondent No. 3- Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) is directed to consider and take a decision on the petitioner's application for releasing the amount of compensation expeditiously preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

(3) Accordingly, the writ petition stands finally disposed of.

(4) It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the case and the authority concerned is free to take decision on the petitioner's application on its own merit in accordance with law.
