Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that pursuant to the policy issued by the State dated 11.09.2019 which purports that the persons who are in possession of the government land those lands have been settled in their favour and the petitioners who are in possession of the part of land bearing Khasra No.377/1 at village Semarsal from decades filed an application before the Collector Mungeli on 05.01.2021 by Annexure P-4. It is submitted that though the circular dated 11.09.2019 mandates that any application, if so filed, it should be decided within two months and in the instant case the considerable period has passed and no decision has arrived at.

Learned State counsel would submit that after the circular dated 11.09.2019 further circulars have been issued whereas certain direction also exists and the petitioners' application would be decided in accordance with the rules and the direction which are existing as on date.

Considering such submission of both the parties and since the application has been filed by the petitioners for settlement of the land pursuant to certain policy of the State, the concerned officers of the State Government are directed to decide the application of the petitioners in accordance with the existing circular and direction within a further period of 60 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.
