The present Review Petition has been filed by Petitioner seeking review of Order dated 12.4.2021 passed by this Court in W.P.(S) No.2283/2021.

The Writ Petition was disposed of along with a bunch of other connected matters on the same day, in the light of the decision taken by the Directorate of Public Instructions, dated 15.2.2021, whereby they had declared the candidates who have obtained the Degree course along with the Diploma course in the same academic session would be eligible for participation in the recruitment process for the post of Teacher (E&T) cadre.

The present matter also got tagged up and got disposed of along with other similar matters.

However, in the instant case, the Petitioner has not done a Degree and Diploma course in the same academic session. It is a case where the Petitioner has undertaken two Degree courses in the same academic

session. The matter pertaining to candidates who have cleared two Degree courses in the same academic session has not been decided in the Circular dated 15.2.2021. The said matter pertaining to candidates who have undertaken two Degree courses in the same academic session is still pending consideration before this Court. Therefore, the present Review Petition has been moved by Petitioner seeking for review of the Order dated 12.4.2021 so that the present matter can also be heard on merits afresh in the factual backdrop of the present case, along with other similarly placed petitions.

On due consideration of the facts as submitted by learned Counsel for Petitioner, this Court is of the firm opinion that a strong case for review of Order dated 12.4.2021 pased in W.P.(S) No.2283/2021 is made out. 6.

Accordingly, the present Review Petition is allowed. The Order dated 12.4.2021 passed in W.P.(S) No.2283/2021 is recalled and W.P.(S) No.2283/2021 is restored to its original number to be listed for rehearing on its own merits.

Let a copy of this Order be also made a part of the records of W.P. (S) No.2283/2021.
