The challenge in the present writ petition is to the Annexure P-1 dated 26/08/2017 whereby the respondents have transferred the petitioner from Janpad Panchayat, Sarangarh to Janpad Panchayat, Lailunga. The petitioner had immediately challenged the impugned order and has obtained interim protection on 04/09/2017, by virtue of which the petitioner continues to work at his present place of posting. 2.

In view of the same, the impugned order has lost its efficacy. The writ petition accordingly stands disposed off with direction to the respondents not to act upon the impugned order any further so far as the petitioner is concerned, However, the right of the respondents stands reserved to pass a fresh order of transfer in case administrative exigency so arises.
