ORDER

22.09.2020 Heard 1.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the brother of the petitioner who was a Teacher in the Government High School Khainda, Tahsil Baloda Bazar, died on 05.03.2019. The petitioner being the dependent brother has filed an application for compassionate appointment on 11.10.2019. It is further contended that other family members of the petitioner have also consented for appointment of the petitioner on the compassionate ground, however, no decision has yet been arrived in such application, which was preferred to the respondent authorities. Therefore, it is prayed that the orders may be passed on the application for compassionate appointment within a reasonable time.

Without any observation on merit as to the right of the petitioner, it is directed that the Respondent No.2 shall decide the application of the petitioner for compassionate appointment dated 11.10.2019 (Annexure P-2) according to the applicable rules and regulation and scheme of the State within a further period of 120 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
