P.U.D. has been received from the Court of Special Judge under Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, Baikunthpur, District Korea praying for extension of time for disposal of Special Criminal Case No.23 of 2019. This Court had passed an order dated 10.2.2020 in M.Cr.C. No. 190 of 2020 directing the learned trial Court for speedy disposal of the case, preferably, within a period of six months.

Considering the grounds mentioned in the PUD and after appreciating the same, the request made in the PUD is allowed. It is ordered that the case mentioned herein-above pending before the Court below be decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date the normal functioning of the Courts is restored.
