Learned counsel for the respondent No.2 Election Commission would submit, on instruction, that the Election Commission is ready to declare the result of the election of Sarpanch of Gram Panchayat, Malni, Tehsil and District Janjgir-Champa. 2.

In view of the statement made, Shri B. P. Sharma, learned counsel for the petitioner, would express that there is no need to

pursue the matter any further, as in view of the statement of the Election Commission, the writ petition would be rendered infructuous.
