The applicants are apprehending their arrest in connection with Crime No.150/2020 registered at Police Station - Darri, District - Korba (CG) for alleged commission of offences under Section 498-A read with Section 34 of IPC. 2.

Complainant Tarkeshwari Mishra was married to applicants' son - Sanjeev Shukla on 15.5.2019. She was subjected to mental and physical cruelty in connection with demand of dowry in the form of cash amount of Rs.3 lakhs. 3.

Neither in the complaint nor in the diary statement of the complainant, there is any specific allegation against the present applicants. Therefore, considering that the applicants are mother-in-law and father-in-law of the complainant aged about 70 years and 60 years respectively, I am inclined to release them on anticipatory bail. 4.

Accordingly, the application is allowed and it is directed that in the event of arrest

of the applicants, they shall be released on anticipatory bail on each of them executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety in the like sum to the satisfaction of the arresting officer with the following conditions:- (i) They shall not influence the witnesses during trial. (ii) They shall make themselves available for interrogation by a police officer as and when required;

(iii) They shall not directly or indirectly make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer. Sd/- ( Manindra Mohan Shrivastava ) Judge Deepti
