The grievance of the petitioner in the present writ petition is the nonissuance of the permanent caste certificate to the petitioner. 2.

Perusal of the record would show that the respondent No.3 had already on 23.11.2019 rejected the application moved by the petitioner. However against the said order, the petitioner had approached the Additional Collector by way of an appeal and the Additional Collector had vide order dated 27.02.2020 allowed the appeal and had remitted the matter back to the Sub-Divisional Officer for issuance of a caste certificate in favour of the petitioner. However, thereafter the respondent No.3 has till date not finalized

the proceedings of issuance of the caste certificate to the petitioner, which has led to the filing of the present writ petition. 3.

Given the limited relief that the petitioner seeks at this juncture, this Court is of the opinion that the writ petition can be disposed of directing the respondent No.3 to take a decision on the application for grant of permanent caste certificate in favour of the petitioner at the earliest preferably within a period of 60 days from the date of receipt of the copy of this order and while deciding the same, the respondent No.3 shall take into consideration the order passed by the Additional Collector (Annexure P/2) dated 27.02.2020. 4.

With the aforesaid observations, the present writ petition stands disposed of.
