1. Mr.Arun Sao, learned Deputy Advocate General appearing for respondent No.1 would submit that the petitioner has claimed promotion on the post of Joint Director, Veterinary Services w.e.f. 8.11.2004, whereas he has already been promoted on the post of Joint Director, Veterinary Services w.e.f. 5.7.2007.

2. In view of that, Mr.Soumya Rai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner may be allowed to make a representation for promotion with effect from 8.11.2004 to the State Government.

3. Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

4. The petitioner is allowed to make a representation to the

State Government for promotion w.e.f. 8.11.2004 and that will be considered by the State Government in accordance with law expeditiously.

5. With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition finally stands disposed of. No cost(s).
