Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that petitioner's case for grant of compensation has been rejected by respondent No. 3 - Additional Collector, Rajnandgaon on 29.07.2016, therefore, he may be allowed to make representation before the respondent No. 1 for grant of compensation.

Prayer appears to be fair and reasonable.

Be that as it may, the petitioner is at liberty to make representation before the respondent No. 1 for grant of compensation. In the event of filing of such representation by the petitioner, the respondent No. 1 shall consider and decide the same expeditiously, preferably within a period of 45 days from the date of receipt of representation.

With the aforesaid observation, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to cost(s).
