1. The claim of the petitioner in this petition is that, the petitioner whose land has been acquired by the respondents have not been granted employment under the rehabilitation scheme as was promised by the respondents.
2. According to the petitioner, the respondent No.2 had vide his correspondence dated 26.08.2014 called the petitioner for certain records and for formalities to be completed by the petitioner and which the petitioner had immediately furnished on 08.09.2014 as is evident from Annexures P/6 & P/7 respectively, however, the grievance of the petitioner is that the respondent No.2 thereafter has not taken any further decision on the said claim of the petitioner.
3. Given the said submissions as made by the petitioner, this court is of the opinion that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent No.2 to take a decision so far as claim of the petitioner for employment under rehabilitation package is concerned at the
earliest as per the rules/regulations and policy prevailing within an outer limit of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. It shall be the responsibility of the petitioner to apprise the respondent No.2 so far as order passed by this court is concerned.
