The grievance has been raised by the petitioner in the present writ petition is to the order dated 23.03.2013 whereby petitioner was placed under suspension. The petitioner seems to have been under suspension for remaining unauthorizedly absent since 30.01.2012. 2.

The contention of the petitioner is that though he has been placed under suspension in March, 2013, till date the order has not been revoked nor have the respondent initiated any disciplinary action against the petitioner in as much as even charge-sheet has also not been issued. Therefore, petitioner is entitled for the relief of revocation of suspension and being permitted to join his duties.

Perusal of records available with the writ petition does not give any indication of the petitioner having ever tried to report for duty in between. The only representation which is enclosed with the writ petition is one which has been filed on 18.06.2018. 4.

Given the facts & circumstances of the case, this Court is of the opinion, that ends of justice would meet if the writ petition is disposed off with a direction to the respondents No. 2 & 3 to take an appropriate decision on the representation of the petitioner, particularly taking note of the fact that the order of suspension was issued about 6 years back. Let an appropriate decision be taken at the earliest preferably within a period of 90 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
